Matt Scatchell is a Brooklyn-based mix engineer, recording engineer, producer, and artist. He began his career at Electric Lady Studios, where he worked alongside GRAMMY-winning mixer Tom Elmhirst on records from Adele, Mark Ronson, Brandi Carlile, and many more.
Since then, he has built a diverse body of work spanning studio and live contexts. As a mixer, his live credits include broadcast specials for Adele, Charli XCX, Zara Larsson, and Kim Petras, with placements on ABC, NBC, CBS, and BBC, as well as tour contributions for Charli XCX, Zara Larsson, Kesha, and Troye Sivan, where he has collaborated with music directors to develop new versions of songs for live production. His studio mixing credits include records featuring A$AP Rocky, Addison Rae, Zara Larsson, L'Eclair, Pink Siifu, Gelli Haha, and more, with releases through RCA, Epic, and Innovative Leisure.
As a recording engineer, he has worked with A$AP Rocky, Common, Jennifer Hudson, and more, with releases through RCA and Interscope. As a producer, he has contributed to both major-label and independent projects - including work with Tyler Cole, Grimson, and Jouska - with releases through Def Jam and Koke Plate.
As an artist, Matt creates ambient music featured in film and commercial campaigns for Zimmermann, The North Face, Eberjey, and DNA Models.
