Matt Scatchell is a New York–based recording and mix engineer, producer, and artist whose work spans major-label releases, live performances, and independent projects.

He began his career at Electric Lady Studios, working alongside Grammy-winning mixer Tom Elmhirst on records from Adele, James Blake, Lil Yachty, and Omar Apollo. After his time there, Matt established himself as a freelance engineer and mixer, developing a signature sound defined by warmth, clarity, and emotional depth.

Recent highlights include mixing Charli XCX’s 2025 GRAMMY performance and contributing to live tours for Zara Larsson, Troye Sivan, and Kesha. His mixing credits also include projects with L’Eclair, Pink Siifu, and Gelli Haha, and he continues to engineer recordings for artists such as Jennifer Hudson, Common, and A$AP Rocky.

As a producer, Matt has collaborated with Tyler Cole, Grimson, and NICK THE NATIVE. He also releases ambient music—reaching over 100,000 listeners in the past year—which has been featured in film and commercial campaigns for brands including Zimmermann, Eberjey, The North Face, and DNA Models.
